Тип урока: закрепление знаний и умений.
Цель: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции в совокупности основных видов речевой деятельности (аудирование говорение, чтение, письмо) в рамках темы раздела 3.
Задачи:
- активизировать навыки изученной лексики по темам: семья, личная информация, черты характера, профессии;
- развивать навыки работы с информацией на основе прослушанных и прочитанных текстов: поиск, анализ и выделение нужной информации;
- развивать культуру взаимодействия, работая в парах и группах.
Универсальные учебные действия:
Личностные УУД: создание мотивации к изучению английского языка и стремления к саморазвитию и совершенствованию в этой области.
Регулятивные УУД: умение адекватно использовать различные речевые средства для решения образовательных задач.
Познавательные УУД: формирование умения находить необходимую информацию в различных типах источников на английском языке.
Коммуникативные УУД: формирование умения высказывать свои мысли в связи с коммуникативной задачей, строить продуктивное партнёрство и сотрудничество со сверстниками и учителями.
Планируемые образовательные результаты:
Предметные:
- употреблять изученную лексику;
- воспринимать речь на слух и работать с текстом;
- анализировать информацию и отвечать на вопросы;
- применять правила по грамматике по теме «Настоящее простое. Настоящее продолженное».
Личностные:
- осознать возможность решения образовательных задач средствами иностранного языка.
Метапредметные:
- знакомиться с культурой, историей, традициями стран изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный экран и проектор/интерактивная доска, колонки, учебник, раздаточный материал.
Ход урока:
Урок проводит ученик 5 класса.
I Организационный момент:
а) Приветствие:
Good afternoon, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Let me introduce myself. I am your new English teacher. My name is Kirill.
б) Вступление:
It is a nice day, isn’t it? Is it autumn now? Is it winter? What season is now? What month is it? What holiday do we have in March? - Yes, it is Mother’s Day. So, today we are going to talk about our mothers and of course about our families.
II Речевая разминка:
Let’s remember the words on the topic “a family”. Look at the screen and recite the poem.
Учитель предлагает детям прочитать хором стихотворение, представленное на слайде.
Grandparents, parents, sisters, brothers.
Their wives, husbands, children and others.
Uncle and aunt, their daughter and son –
My cousins loved by everyone.
My parents' niece and nephew. Where?
And me myself in the centre, there.
Between my Granny and my brother.
We all love dearly one another.
Does anyone know any English poems about a family?
Pupil№1: May I? - Yes, you may.
Who said “Goodnight”
When I was a child?
My mother!
Who comforted me in her arms so mild?
My mother!
Who dressed my dolls in clothes so gay
And showed me often how to play?
My mother!
Who ran to help me when I fell
And who could funny stories tell?
My mother!
So, we have listened to a poem about a mother. And who knows any poems about a father?
Pupil№2: Can I?-Yes, you can.
Father is the kindest
Of all the friends I know.
He likes to take me out with him.
That`s why I love him so.
Do you remember any other poems?
Pupil№3:- May I have a try? - Yes, please, do it.
Our family comes
From around the world
Our hair is strait
Our hair is curled
Our eyes are brown
Our eyes are blue
Our skins are different colours too.
We’re girls and boys
We’re big and small
We’re young and old
We’re short and tall.
We’re everything
That we can be
And still we are
A family.
We laugh and cry
We work and play

Every day
The world is a lovely place to be
Because we are a family.
III Активизация лексических навыков. Физкультминутка.:
Let us remember some adjectives which help us to describe members of a family. We will work one by one. Mary, will you start, please!

I`d like to tell you about my family.
We are a typical Russian family of four.
Look at the photo: we are loving, caring and hospitable.
We like doing things together, especially travelling.
My father is an engineer. My father is intelligent, responsible and athletic. He likes sport.
My mother is a librarian. My mother is kind and creative. She is the most beautiful woman in the world.
I have got a sister, who is three years younger than me. She is funny and nice. We get on well. We go to school together.
As for me, I`m independent, curious and sometimes, talkative. I have got a lot of friends.
I like animals, but I have not got any pets.
I`d like to have a cat or a dog.
I think I have the best family in the world.
Thank you very much, Diana. And now I am going to check if you were attentive or not. Please, answer some of my questions about Diana’s family.
1) How can you describe Diana’s family? - They are a typical Russian family of four.
2) They are loving and hospitable, aren’t they? – Yes, they are.
3) What is her father? – Her father is an engineer.
4) What is his hobby? - He likes sport.
5) What is her mother? – She is a librarian.
6) Has she got any brothers or sisters? - She has got a sister.
7) Does Diana get on well with her sister? – Yes, she does.
8) Is her sister a baby? – No, she isn’t. She is a pupil.
9) What are Diana’s main characteristics? – She is independent, curious and sometimes, talkative.
10) Does Diana love animals? – Yes, she does.
11) Does she want to have a parrot? – No, she doesn’t. She wants to have a cat or a dog.
Учитель подтверждает или опровергает правильность ответов учеников (You are right. Right you are. That’s correct. That’s wrong. I am afraid you are wrong) или обращается к Диане за подтверждением или опровержением информации (Is he/she right/wrong?).
V Активизация лексико-грамматических навыков c опорой на видеоматериал:
I have a special task for you. Look at the screen. You can see a family. We are going to discuss what they are doing now. Don’t forget to use the proper tense. It is The Present Continuous Tense. The first sentence is done for you. Find out if it is right or wrong. If it is wrong make up a negative sentence and give the right one.
Вниманию учеников предлагается лексико-грамматическое упражнение из учебника Round-up 2 в виде компьютерной презентации. Ученики исправляют неверные утверждения и строят правильные предложения.
1. Father is talking on the phone.
Wrong! Father isn’t talking on the phone.
He is drinking Coke and watching TV.
2. Grandpa is listening to music.
Wrong! Grandpa isn’t listening to music.
He is sleeping.
3. Mother is sleeping.
Wrong! Mother isn’t sleeping.
She is eating crisps and watching TV.
4. Brothers are drinking Coke.
Wrong! Brothers aren’t drinking Coke.
They are playing with the cat.
5. Sisters are watching TV.
Wrong! Sisters aren’t watching TV.
They are listening to music and dancing.
6. Grandma is writing a letter.
Wrong! Grandma isn’t writing a letter.
She is talking on the phone.

Wrong! The cat isn’t eating.
It is playing.

It’s time to divide into pairs and talk about your own families. Please open your student’s books page on 43. Ex. 6 can help you.
Учащиеся составляют и разыгрывают собственные диалоги с опорой на образец.
VII Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание.
At home you should do the task on the cards. Here they are. Look at them. You can see a famous cartoon family the Flintstones. The task is the following: you should read the text and answer the questions.
