Цели урока:

Практические: развитие устных и письменных речевых умений на основе прочитанного текста; совершенствование лексических навыков.

Общеобразовательные: повышение общей культуры, расширение кругозора, знаний о США , их системе образования и системе образования России.

Воспитательные:

● формирование национальной идентичности, патриотизма;

● воспитание уважения к стране изучаемого языка, её культуре, толерантного отношения к её представителям.

● развивать навыки сотрудничества при парной и командной работе по тематической теме в ограниченном лимите времени,

● поддержать высокую личностную оценку и самооценку подростков, помочь в личностном самоопределении учащихся

Развивающие: развитие памяти, внимания, речевых способностей, языковой догадки, умения сравнивать, анализировать, обобщать.

Языковой материал: лексика по теме: « Типы американских школ».

Речевой материал: текст на чтение, таблица « Система образования США и России».

Оснащение урока: учебник, диск, речевые опоры, компьютер.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие (Greeting)

Hello, everybody! How are you? I am really excited today.

2. Вызов (Создание мотивации) 5мин

Students, today we are going to talk on very interesting items.

But firstly let me ask you a few questions.

Do you like your school?

What subjects do you study at school?

How many students are there in your class?

By the way, would you like to spend some time in the USA and study at an American school? Why? • to improve English

• to communicate with American peers

• to learn more about the country, its customs and traditions

• to experience life in an American school

So, what are we going to talk about?

And now look at the blackboard. There is a table. You have to fill it during the lesson. Thus we will compare the Russian and American Education system.

Today we have a great opportunity to talk to an American student.

Welcome Jane! She studies in the 10^th Form at the New York High School.

And also here is our translator Viktoriya. She will translate all Janes’ answers.
