Презентация к открытому уроку в 9 классе по теме «Чтение книг»

Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

  • Совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи.
  • Формирование коммуникативных умений и навыков.
  • Совершенствование умения воспринимать на слух текст с извлечением основной информации.

2. Развивающие:

  • Развитие языковых способностей и устойчивого интереса к изучению иностранного языка.
  • Развитие умения выражать свое отношение к обсуждаемому вопросу.
  • Совершенствование общеучебных умений.

3. Воспитательные:

  • Формирование у учащихся интереса к литературе.
  • Воспитание активности в решении коммуникативных задач.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. (Сообщение темы и целей урока.)

-Hello my dear students. I am glad to see you at our lesson. Say hello, please, to our guests.

- Are you ready for the English lesson?

-Perfect. Take your seats.

-Today we are going to speak about one of the most wonderful things in the world.

Well, try to guess it. (It has no mouth but speak. It isn’t alive but it can be a good friend. It is not a tree but it has leaves.)

-What is it? (A book)

-Look at these pictures in the screen, please.

-What do all these pictures have in common? (books, printed books, e-books, reading books, different kinds of books. In all the pictures we can see books.)

-So what is the theme of our lesson? (Reading books)

-Very good, today we are going to speak about reading books.

2. Постановка целей

-I would like you to guess what we’ll you do during the lesson. This task is very easy.

Girls, I want you here, you’ll just help me very fast.

So, guys you have cards on the desks. Open them up.

-What we should do? We should match the pictures with the actions. Let’s do it one by one.

-What is that? (The word)

-Who has the picture for the word speak English. I have a picture of reading

-Girls put them up on the board.

Girls, read, please, the steps of our lesson.

 

3. Речевая разминка. (Ответы на вопросы.)

First answer the questions:

-Do you like reading books?

-When and where do you usually read?

-How much time do you spend on reading every day?

-How many books have you got at home?

-How old were you when you began reading?

-Do you prefer to read books or magazines?

-How does reading books help you in your life? (Reading books can help me solving some real problems or overcome some challenges,(преодолевать трудности)

-Do your parents help you to choose the books you read?

-How do you think the interest in reading is growing or losing with young people nowadays? Why? (I think reading isn’t very popular with young people nowadays. The interest in reading is becoming smaller. The main reason is The Internet (a popularity of the net and TV))

 

Now, look at the board. There are some words which you could find difficult. Please, repeat after me.

contemporary — современный [kənˈtempərərɪ]
a conclusion — вывод

to depend on — зависеть от
fame — слава

spare time-свободное время

observe the way of life- наблюдать за образом жизни

to face- столкнуться

touch upon in - затронуть в

tour in his search for- тур в его поисках

happiness- счастье

-Read again and translate.

-And now on the contrary From Russian into English.

4.Аудироваение

The next task for you is to write missing words in the sentences. But to do this task you should listen to the text .We have such tasks in the exam.

We’ll listen to the text twice. While listening you should write words. You have 30 seconds getting acquainted (ознакомиться) with the task.

Let’s check the task. Exchange you tasks with your partner, look at the screen and check. Give marks.

-What marks you’ll get.

-Perfect.

5. Словообразование- Now, please, come here, take the lists. Open them up. What is on the lists? ( the words and suffixes)

Who has the words stands to my right, who has suffixes stands to my left. Good.

The task is word building. Find a pair to each other and stand nearby, make up the phrases and the sentences with the new word on the topic.

6.Чтение

Now let’s read the text and give it the title. While reading use derivatives of the words on the right.

-What about the text? What is the title?

- What is the most interesting book in the author’s library and why?

(The most interesting book in the author’s library is «Hector's Trip» by a modern French writer, Francois Lelord because It is a bestseller and translated into several languages.)

Who (what) is the main character of it? (The main character of the book a young doctor)

-Why did he decide to make a world tour in his search for happiness? (He wanted to know if happiness means the same for all people around the world.)

-What did the main character learn about happiness in his tour? Why?

There are many reasons for happiness and it is not possible to unite all of them because some people may become happy, if they find their own answers to the questions and it does not depend on money or fame.

-Why did Hector come to such conclusion? (Hector meets many people on his way and observed their way of life. They look happy but the reasons for that were different.)

What is happiness for you? Happiness means being wealthy. It means to be healthy.

Happiness means having love in the life, having many friends, a good job, or achieving a certain goal.
