Сценарий литературной гостиной по мотивам произведения «Мальчик в полосатой пижаме»

Данный сценарий представляет собой внеурочное мероприятие, проведённое в рамках филологической декады, посвященной празднованию 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной Войне. В ходе беседы обсуждается популярная книга ирландского писателя «Мальчик в полосатой пижаме». Данный формат сочетает информационный и развлекательный элементы, способствуя популяризации литературы и истории среди широкой аудитории.

This scenario is an extracurricular event held as part of the philological decade dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. During the conversation, the popular book by the Irish writer "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" is discussed. This format combines informational and entertaining elements, promoting the popularization of literature and history among a wide audience.

-Good afternoon Dear guests and TV viewers. Today we are going to discuss very popular book of famous Ireland writer “The boy in the Striped Pyjamas”. Most of all our TV program is dedicated to the Great Event of our country “The 80^th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War the II ”

2 The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Let’s  meet our guests. They are our students. Let us introduce yourself and tell some words about your hobby.

S1 My name is… I like watching interesting films

S2 My name is… I like reading interesting books of  Russian and foreign writers

S3 My name is…My favorite hobby is cooking tasty food

S4 My name is…I prefer chatting with friends discussing different problems

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Thank you for your presentations.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): As you know Today we are going to discuss very popular novel of famous Ireland  writer “The boy in the Striped Pyjamas”.

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): At first tell us who is the author of  this novel?

S1: The author of the book is famous Ireland writer John Boyne.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Could you tell us some words about his biography?

S1: Yes, of course. JOHN BOYNE was born in Ireland in 1971. He lives in Dublin.  His work has been translated into seventeen languages. To date, he has  published seven novels. His novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2006) was made into a film by Miramax. The film won several prestigious film awards. The novel itself won two Irish Book Awards and won several international awards.

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Thank you for your information. Now let’s try to discuss his famous book “The boy in the Striped Pyjamas”. What is this book about?

S2: To my mind, this book is about a tragic friendship between two boys from the period of the World War the II.

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий):Why do you think that their friendship was tragic?

S2: It’s a pity, but they were killed at the end of this story.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Where does the action of the book take place?

S3: So, the action of the novel takes place near the concentration camp in Poland, Auschwitz.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): It is interesting to know some facts about Auschwitz.( Osventsim).

S3: Auschwitz was the largest camp established by the Germans. It was a complex consisting of a concentration camp, death camp, and forced labor camp located near the Polish city of Krakow. The sign above the entrance to the camp read: "ARBEIT MACHT FREI", meaning "work leads to freedom". But in real life work became another form of genocide ".

 About 4 million people were killed in the concentration camp   Auschwitz (ОСВЕНЦИМ) since 1941-1945. 

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): It is very tragic page of our history. My next question is about the central characters. Who are the main characters?

S4: They are two little boys. The German  boy Bruno. He is the son of German officer and  the Jewish boy Shmuel. He was a prisoner of a concentration camp.

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): What is the plot (сюжет) of the story?

S4: One day by chance, boys made friends near fence. The tragedy was in that they lived on the different sides of a fence of the concentration camp. But they didn’t think about it. They talked, played chess. They didn’t know how terrible life was around them. They were good friends, they were only little boys and wanted to help to each other.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): What kind of persons are Bruno and Shmuel?

S2:I think, Bruno is very kind and clever boy from intelligent and educated family.

He had a lot of friends in Berlin. Here he has only one friend. It’s not important for him what nationality are his friends. He is a very good friend, that’s why(поэтому) he tried to help  Shmuel to find his father at the cost of his life.

 Shmuel is very kind too. He is hardworking and obedient (покорный). He loves his father very much, that’s why (поэтому) he tried to find his father at the cost of his life too .Of course, they didn't suspect (не подозревали) about their tragic final.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий):Thank you for your opinion.

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): As we understand you, the final part of the novel has the  tragic end?

S4: Oh! Yes! Poor boys were killed in the  concentration camp accidentally.

S5: You are right but this story is based on a real fact! 

2.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): Let’s make the conclusion. What is the main idea of this novel?

S5: The main idea of this novel is to show us how terrible the war is! Without saying, it’s a tragedy because children must live and adults

 must  defend them.

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): What impression does this novel produced upon you?

S5 After reading, I want to say that war is the worst thing in the world. The author wanted to show us all tragedy of all wars!

1.The presenter of the TV program (ведущий): What can you say in conclusion?

S5:At present time young generation know about World War the II only from books and films but we must never forget those who gave their lives for our peace in the World.
