ВНЕКЛАССНОГО МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

Тема: St.Valentine’s Day

Цели: развитие положительной мотивации обучения, знакомство с обычаями и традициями страны изучаемого языка.

воспитательная – поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка; воспитывать у обучающихся уважение к культуре и традициям других народов; воспитывать чувство взаимной ответственности, прививать навыки работы в коллективе.

развивающая – способствовать развитию творческой деятельности, инициативы у обучающихся; развивать логическое мышление, память, внимание, языковую догадку

образовательная – активизировать лексику по теме «St.Valentine’s Day»; развивать умение применять материал в практических ситуациях; познакомить учащихся с традициями и обычаями празднования Дня Святого Валентина

СЦЕНАРИЙ ВНЕКЛАССНОГО МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ

Teacher: Good afternoon, children! Today we have a special lesson, we are going to play. This play will be devoted to a beautiful holiday – St. Valentine’s Day. This happy holiday celebrates friendship, love and romance. Galina Aleksandrovna told me that your group is very smart and you know practically everything, don’t you? (Pupils respond Yes!)

Can you answer my several questions then? (Pupils respond Yes!)

Questions are very easy so that every student can answer them. It is done for the purpose of getting their attention and desire to play.

1.When is St Valentine’s Day celebrated? 2.Can you name any symbols of St Valentine’s Day? 3. What do people present each other on St. Valentine’s Day?

Are you ready to continue the play? (Pupils respond Yes!)

Divide into two teams then. Students are divided into 2 teams by drawing procedure.

Now we are ready for the competition! I wish you good luck!

Please let’s be polite. When you want to answer and bring a point to your team, please raise your hand and answer!

Teacher: Children do you know how the cards that people send to each other are called? (Pupils respond - Valentines!) Right you are. Some people buy them at the store, some people make them themselves. Anyway, before presenting valentines, people always sign them. And not all people are as smart as you are. When signing them, they make mistakes. Can you try to find mistakes in this valentine?

Teacher: Love makes people express their feelings in unusual way. One of them is poetry. Poetry is very close to music. There are very many poems about love. And very often there are poems in valentines. Could you put the lines in the correct order to make a poem? Please do then and recite it to us!
